Motion Graphics Exercise

Create a 8 - 12 second keyframe-based animation using Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.

Design a short motion graphics segment using keyframe based animation. Begin by creating a graphic in Photoshop with the visual elements on separate layers. Import the layered PSD file into Final Cut Pro. The file will show up as a new sequence and the sequence layers will correspond to layers in the original file. You can now edit, animate, and filter those layers like you would with normal video.

Examples of a short motion graphics segment could be an Outro to Commercial for a television show (Coming Up Next....) or a short title sequence.
